The Oman based IT firm, Bahwan CyberTek, Plans to double its employee strength to about 500, mostly in India, in a couple of years.
The company also plans an additional investment of about $5 million in India, Mainly in Chennai, on infrastructure. At Present, out of the 250 professionals, about 160 are working in the company’s Chennai offshore development Centre and the rest of them are spread across Muscat, Bangalore, Boston, Dubai and Munich Centres, the company’s Director and CEO, Mr.S.Durgaprasad, told reporters here today.
Part of the $1-billion Suhail Bahwan Group in Oman, BCT today announced its foray into the Indian market with three products from the Cuecent suite of solutions for the banking, financial solutions and insurance industry. The products are Cuecent Cash-Switch, an inward-outward remittance solution, Cuecent Pay Switch, a financial service aggregator, and Cuecent FINFLEX, a financial portfolio management system, he said.
The company has appointed Protech Software in Chennai, Team Frontline in Kerala and Strategic Management Services in Delhi as Strategic partners. It would appoint a few more partners, he said.
