MUSCAT — Bahwan CyberTek (BCT), in association with Infoline, yesterday announced the launch of Cuecent ESS (Enterprise Software System) for BPO (Business Processing Outsourcing) Services.
Cuecent ESS is an integrated comprehensive enterprise system launched on the BPO model with specific target market of small and medium enterprises.
The product is based on the emerging BPMS (business process management system), which is considered as the revolutionary standard for software development and is capable of delivering highly customised end-to-end process management solutions at a fraction of both cost and time.
Bahwan CyberTek, part of the billion dollar Suhail Bahwan Group, offers a wide array of software products and consulting services .
Some of the services include product development, system integration, outsourced application development, migration and customisation, IT outsourcing solutions and end-to-end networking solutions.
Infoline, a joint venture between Bahwan CyberTek, Omantel and (PEIE) Public Establishment for Industrial Estates, is a customer contact centre based at Knowledge Oasis, Muscat.
Infoline provides integrated customer care solutions through voice — inbound and outbound; multimedia — web based; and back office services round the clock to its global customers.
Shantanu Sen Sharma, COO of BCT speaking at the launch said: “Looking at some of the key issues faced by businesses today with respect to their IT investments, changing business and technology environments, we believe Cuecent ESS will be the paradigm way applications are designed, developed and integrated by large IT users because it enables the business owners to address their business issues rapidly.”
Cuecent ESS owes it uniqueness to its design and development, which has been kept in mind for a flexible model to suit diverse industries, specially the SMEs.
They can implement solution in a faster and seamless manner using the product with considerable cost optimisation in terms of IT spends.
The monthly unit of pricing for this product depends upon the number of licenses that a customer is using and will be a fixed charge per month.
The customer does not pay for licence, does not pay for implementation, connectivity, servers.
Cuecent is a web-based application that can be accessed anywhere and is executable with simple e-mail (Hotmail, Yahoo etc.) resources and is the first of its kind in the Sultanate to be supported by an ASP (application service provider) model.
The data is secured in a stable environment hosted by Infoline.

BCT has in the past demonstrated its capabilities demonstrated its capabilities in the BPO sector through initiatives like PDO 4th Party Logistics (4PL), Sanad Service Centres, Thomas Cooks Cash Switch initiative.
