Announcing this at a press conference here yesterday, S Durga Prasad, director and chief executive officer (CEO) of the company said the products included CUECENT CashSwitch for inward-outward remittance, CUECENT Pay Switch a financial service aggregator and CUECENT FINFLEX, a financial portfolio management system
Sharing product details, he said ‘all the three products have the potential to significantly impact the financial services market in the country. Talks are on with the global software major Oracle to co-promote the products in India’. Oracle is already promoting these products in the Middle East.
Bahwan’s, which has been developing its products in the last four years at its Centre of Excellence in Chennai, has already identified a location at Taraipakkan for a new facility.
The company is also planning to increase its staff in Chennai from the current 200 to 500 in the next couple of years. The company would be chiefly looking for qualified system architects, he further added. Bhawan CyberTek, an associate company of the billion-dollar Suhail Bahwan Group from Oman, was incorporated as an independent company in the year 1999.
