Chennai-based IT solutions provider Bahwan CyberTek Private Limited (BCT) has developed a first of its kind software product Cuecent BPMS (business process management software) designed to automate the flow-chart processes of an enterprise with the aim of improving productivity and to quicken the lead-time to market the products and services.
Announcing the launch of the product yesterday at a press conference, S Durgaprasad, chief executive officer, BCT, said the new program that eliminates hand-coding offers a digital business model through a single flexible solution and increases the responsiveness of businesses to events and customer requirements. Cuecent BPMS is built on graphical interface model to integrate existing technologies of a company with itself for Business Activity Monitoring.
It is capable of delivering customized process management solutions in real time enterprise by saving 40 per cent in total cost ownership (TCO) by improving employee productivity and making the enterprise adaptive to changing environment and market demands.
The company's blue-chip clients like Bank of Muscat, money transfer leader Thomas Cook and the Petroleum Company of Oman have embraced Cuecent for integrating their diverse business processes and for better return on investments (RoI) and leveraging investments already made, said Durgaprasad.
'Keeping in line with our vision to be the preferred partner to our clients and be a leader in solutions led global IT services, Cuecent BPMS promises to be clear leap in that direction. We are confident that this product will be landmark development in IT industry,' he said.
Claiming that Cuecent BPMS is an ideal solution for companies aspiring to integrate systems, automate routine activities and manage diverse processes under a single architecture, V Sriram, president, BCT, said, 'By creating a zero coding product, we will be able to help enterprises implement solutions in a faster and seamless manner with cost optimization in terms of their IT spends'.
Besides cost reduction, the product also enhances process efficiency, error reduction and increased satisfaction among customers, partners and employees. The company has invested around $2.5 million dollar in research and development of the product undertaken by its offshore development center in Chennai involving a core of team of 30 members. 'We have set a target of 100 customers for this product for this calendar year in India. And Cuecent BPMS will also be launched shortly in Middle East and Far East,' Sriram said.
The product is a packaged suite with a price range of Rs 20 lakh to Rs one crore depending upon the requirements of the clients from small, medium and large industries. Small enterprises that could not buy the product outright because of cost inhibition have the option of availing the services offered by the BCT in running their process control through the new software program.
