Hind Bahwan has what many consider a "technology" background. A graduate in Computer Science and Harvard Business School alumna, Ms Hind has grown her professional skills within the billion-dollar Suhail Bahwan Group. She is one of the Directors of Suhail Bahwan Group and is recognized throughout the Middle East as an enterprising and dynamic young businesswoman.
Hind is a member of the Young President's Organization, a peer network which connects together global entrepreneurs to exchange ideas, pursue learning and share strategies to achieve personal and professional growth and success. She also plays a leading role in working with government and other leading commercial companies in the joint pursuit of creating a digital society in Oman.
Hind's vision - to be the preferred partner of her clients and a leader in the Global IT solutions market - is quickly becoming a reality. As the Executive Chairperson, she has created in Bahwan CyberTek, an organization providing world-class products and services. It already links four nations known for excellence in IT and ICT: Oman, the United Arab Emirates, India and the United States.
Under her leadership Bahwan CyberTek has also developed a Joint Venture with the Government of Oman and Omantel to create for Gulf Air at Knowledge Oasis Muscat, the largest IPCC based call centre in the country, which now employs more than 300 local citizens.
She has also been instrumental in creating a Joint Venture between Bahwan CyberTek and DHL, forming a 4th party logistics organization - the first of it's kind in Oman. She has provided leadership for BCT from the front since inception.
Her other major achievements as a business leader include:

Arabian Business 'e-Achiever of the Year' award from HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rasheed in 2001.
